Leo symbol is Lion: Lion has been characterized as an organized hunter with great strength, strategy, and skill. The lion is one of the incarnations of Lord Vishnu as Narasimha, who had the head and shoulder of a lion and torso of a man. Narasimha is one of the fiercest forms of Lord Vishnu, who had eliminated the demon Hiranyakashipu. Also, Goddess Durga has her vehicle as the Lion.
In mythology, the lion is the symbol of royalness, where the king and his throne were inseparable. The throne is called ‘Singhasan’ or ‘lion’s seat’.
