Narendra Modi Oath Ceremony

Prime Minister Narendra Modi: Astrological analysis of Swearing in ceremony

After a surprise and unbelievable mandate, Narendra Modi finally became India’s 15th Prime Minister. With huge hope and burden on his shoulders, Modi has sworn in as Prime Minister of India.

Modi has sworn in as Prime Minister on May 26, 2014, between 6 and 6:10 PM at Delhi. This muhurta timing is an indication of how the next five years are going to be. I will try to analyze based on the muhurta chart.

May 26 Almanac (Panchanga)
			Tithi: Trayodashi
			Nakshatra:Aswini
			Week Day: Monday (Moon)
			Yoga: Sobhana
			Karana: Vanija
			Hora Lord:

At the time of swearing in ceremony, Libra was the rising sign. Libra sign is the sign of balance. So it is very suitable sign for governing. Lagna lord Venus is in the 7th house of Aries and it is Vargottama. That shows Modi will be very strong in decision making. And ascendant degree towards the end of the sign, shows that this government will be very mature in decision making. Decision making will be with the vision and long term goals. But ascendant lord is in close conjunction with Ketu and also it is in Gandanta position (Gandanta means a planet will be in between the fire and watery sign). And it is also in Rahu Ketu axis and Mars being in 12th house aspecting it. So it can create lot of tension for the prime minister. There will be lot of opposition from inside the party and outside for all the work he will do. As Saturn is sitting in ascendant, there may be a perception in the minds of people that the functioning of the government is not going in the right direction. But as time goes, the perception might change and people will think they have taken the right decision.

2nd house shows national wealth, currency, financial stability and savings: Here 2nd lord Mars is in 12th house, which is a negative thing. But as per Bhava chart, Mars goes to 11th house, which makes it greatest news for the country. So on one front there will be lot of prosperity and country will progress under Modi. Also, Mars is related to defense, there can be lot of expenditure on defense front. There also can be a war like situation.

4th house represents general happiness of people, Agriculture, education: 4th house lord is in 1st house itself and Saturn is Yogakaraka for Libra ascendant. So there can be lot of improvement in this sector. But as Saturn is retrograde, there can be some problems and controversies related these fields. There also can be some natural calamities in the coming days.

5th house is for intellect, stock markets, Investments: As 5th house lord is again Saturn, the economy is going to be improved. There will be a bull run in stock market, but there will also be lot of volatility in the markets.

8th house represents accidents, natural calamities etc. Here 8th lord is with Ketu and aspected by other malefic planets. So there can be some fire related activities and even some terrorist activities.

9th house is for judicial system, religion, general welfare: Here 9th lord Mercury in 9th house itself. Mercury is also a very benefic planet for Libra ascendant. Even Jupiter is in 9th house. There will be free hand for judicial system. Lot of dirt in the matters of corruption can come out this time.

Sun being the leader in our solar system, is in 8th house. But it is exalted in Navamsha and is in 7th amsha, which makes it a very strong and it will give lot of strength. Actually as per Bhava kundli, Sun takes the 7th position, which can make the Prime Minister Modi one of the greatest leaders this country ever seen.

Overall, the timing is good, but there will be a really very hard time the government has to face. There would be a lot of tension kind of situation. There is no doubt that this government will work hard for the country. They may put the country on the progressive track.
