Bharat Mata Mandir

Bharat Mata Mandir | Bharat Mata Temple in Haridwar

Bharat Mata Mandir also known as Mother India Temple, is an eight-floor building dedicated to Mother India (Bharat Mata). This unique temple is a place to express gratitude to all the sons and daughters of mother India like patriots, freedom fighters, saints, leaders along with Gods and Goddesses. Bharat Mata Mandir was constructed by Swami Satyamitranand Giri in 1983 on the banks of Ganga and inaugurated by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

The temple is arranged in different segments and decorated beautifully with a representation of Indian history. This temple is an ideal place to teach and create awareness about the history and freedom struggle for the young generation. In fact, many schools are arranging study tours to this temple on part of their teaching. Administrators can make it more informative to the students, by giving some facts & figures for each personality.
