Tera Manzil Temple

Tera Manzil Temple Rishikesh | Trimbakeshwar Temple

Tera Manzil Temple, also known as Tryambakeshwar temple, is a thirteen-story temple, located on the banks of the river Ganges near Lakshman Jhula bridge. It is mainly dedicated to Lord Shiva in the form of Lingam, but almost all the idols of various Gods and Goddesses are present in the temple. Trimbakeshwar means three-eyed Lord Shiva, who fulfills the wishes of the devotees.

Each floor of the thirteen floors has small shrines with idols of Gods and Goddesses. However, they are mostly unattended. There are many shops within the temple that sell rudraksha, yantra, malas, deity photos. There is no lift and one has to walk to the top in a spiraling walkway.

Main Attraction of Tera Manzil Temple

The position of the temple surrounded by natural beauty is quite outstanding. The panoramic view of the surroundings including Lakshman Jhula is breathtaking. The temple in the evening looks stunning because of the lights. They also perform Ganga Aarti in the evening time during sunset. However, the poor maintenance of the temple and inattentive idols are the sad part of the temple.
